Douglas Labratories Lipotrol

Lipotrol^™ is a combination of nutrients, phytochemicals and digestive enzymes that is formulated to support healthy lipid metabolism.
The liver is one of the primary organs involved in lipid metabolism, including the synthesis of fatty acids and lipoproteins. Choline bitartrate is a source of choline, an important nutrient that supports healthy liver function, such as the production and transport of VLDL from the liver.
Niacin occurs in the body as two metabolically active coenzymes, NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) and NADP (NAD phosphate). These coenzymes have pervasive roles in energy-related and biosynthetic metabolic processes. The inositol hexaniacinate form of niacin in Lipotrol^™ does not elicit the skin flushing signs of nicotinic acid.

Lipotrol^™ contains citrus bioflavonoids, a class of phytochemicals that are potent antioxidants, to scavenge many potentially damaging free radicals. The digestive enzymes bromelain and papain are also included.
